This scrunchy is handcrafted from the same soft, stretchy velvet (90% polyester, 10% spandex) as our standard velvet scrunchies. The plush velvet gently grips your hair to help keep ponytails and buns comfortably in place without slipping, while the rich red color adds an elegant finishing touch to any outfit.

The difference is what's inside. Instead of our standard rubber elastic, this version is made with our Classic knit elastic. Many customers prefer knit elastic for its traditional feel and long-lasting durability, especially if they've experienced rubber elastic breaking or coming untied in the past.
